AJMER: The registration and stamp departments remove three Jaipur sub-registrants from their post after finding financial irregularities and misuse of accounting systems for the accounting of the online government or e-gras on Monday which resulted in the loss of income of almost Rs 8 Crore.
Seven clerks from the registration department have been included by orders for post waiting (apos) and notification of the causes of shows issued for 44 employees.
The license of 19 stamp vendors from Jaipur has also been canceled after uncovering fraud.
Inspector General Registration and Mahveater Parsad Stamps said that Sadhna Sharma, Sub-Registrar, Jaipur; Rajeev badgujar, registrar representative; And Savita Sharma, executive-sub-registrar, has been moved with the direct effect to the Rajasthan income council.
The action was taken after it was found that the Challans e-Gras was reused to register documents without paying fees.
The department’s technical team checks the reuse of e-gras Challan for e-registration and creates a list of challans.
The National Informatics Center (NIC) provides a list of 913 alleged documents registered by reusing Challans.
A committee based on calculating losses to the income department submitted a report to nail 17 sub-registration offices that have registered 676 of these documents, resulting in the loss of 7.94 crore income.
These documents were sent to recover the loss of income caused by officials and acting departments against carelessness and registering criminal cases.
The department has recovered Rs 2.28 Crore from 218 cases like that and 447 of them are waiting.
The high-level committee in charge of identifying the cause of finding that stamp vendors have been deliberately reused Challans to register new documents and department officials have failed to verify the same thing.
Three Jaipur sub-registrants have been removed from their post for their carelessness.
Besides all three, Registration Registrar of Babu Lal Meena, Sushil Kumar Sharma, Balbeer Singh Dhayal, Anupam Singh, Ashok Kuar Upreti, Deepak Hingonia and Shamlal Kasawat Jaipur had been put into APO.
Likewise, 44 clerks have also been presented notice of the cause of the show.
