NEW DELHI: A e-rickshaw motorist was detained for allegedly stabbing a girl multiple times within a financial dispute, officials said Friday.
The authorities said that they received information regarding the episode at 8.17pm Thursday.
The girl was shot to BSA Hospital at Rohini and afterwards she had been known to Safdarjung Hospital, where her condition was said to be steady, deputy commissioner of police (outside north) Rajiv Ranjan Singh explained.
The accused, identified as Naresh alias Raju, is that the lady’s neighbour and they understood each other for the previous eight weeks.
A quarrel ensued between both on a financial dispute Thursday, after which he stabbed multiple times, the authorities explained, adding the announcement of this girl is not yet been accepted which will clear the rationale.
The accused has been arrested late Thursday night in a raid plus a blood-stained knife had been recovered on his case, they stated.
According to the authorities, Naresh was formerly involved 11 other criminal circumstances.
