Nagpur: The Branch of City Police Crime has broken the Bhopal-based inter-state racket that has issued a fake electronic transit pass (E-TP) to the sand mafia in Maharashtra, which leads to the loss of state royalties.

“In Nagpur, we have investigated several illegal sand train cases and other deviations, including theft.

He added that a scam would lead to many other revelations about the modus operandi sand mafia in Nagpur Regency.
“We have charged a criminal conspiracy in this case and more heads are expected to roll now,” Top Police said.
