Eam Jaisankar visited Dubai Expo; Meet colleagues from Slovakia, Cyprus, Luxembourg

Dubai: Minister of External Affairs Jaisankar on Saturday visited the Indian Pavilion in Dubai 2020 Expo where he met his colleagues from Slovakia, Cyprus and Luxembourg and discussed strengthening cooperation in the main areas including health services.
During his visit to the Indian Pavilion, Jaishankar praised him because he had crossed the 300,000 footsteps so far.
“Visiting #indiaapavilion @ expo2020dubai.
300,000 footsteps we have yesterday spoke for themselves,” said Minister on Twitter.
The Indian Pavilion in Dubai Expo, which was inaugurated on October 1, across two foot lakh steps on November 3, became one of the most visited pavilions.
During a visit, Jaishankar met Ivan Corcok, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Europe Slovakia.
“It’s nice to meet Slovakia FM @ivankorcok in Dubai # Expo2020.
Look forward to strengthening our cooperation with the Visegrad group,” Jaisankar said.
He also met Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides at the Expo.
“It’s nice to see the Minister of Foreign Affairs @ChristodUdulida Cyprus in #inpavilion in Dubai # Expo2020,” Minister said in a tweet.
Separately, Jaishankar met Foreign Minister Luxembourg Jean Asselborn and discussed bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
“It’s nice to catch up with FM Jean Asselborn Luxembourg in Dubai.
Discussing our health sector cooperation,” he said on Twitter after the meeting.
Last week, Safe Puri, Indian Consul General in Dubai and Deputy Commissioner of India at the Expo 2020 Dubai said, “October is a great success for the Indian pavilion.
We see strong visitor voters and expect this momentum to continue in the coming months”.
Expo 2020 is hosted by Dubai UAE from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.
