A State Department spokesperson stated Blinken and Jaishankar would explore a broad array of problems, such as COVID-19, attempts to reinforce Indo-Pacific alliance during the Quad, improved UN and multilateral collaboration. “The Secretary looks forward to fulfilling Minister Jaishankar throughout his trip, and to talking about a wide array of problems, such as Covid-19 relief, attempts to reinforce Indo-Pacific alliance via the Quad, improved UN and multilateral cooperation, and a variety of other shared regional safety and financial motives,” the spokesperson said. Besides fulfilling his counterpart, Jaishankar is scheduled to meet US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivanalong with additional senior officers of their Biden Administration, powerful lawmakers, think-tanks, leaders of the corporate industry and also associates of the Indian American community.
