Uttrarkashi: an earthquake of 3.4 on the Richter scale of the Uttarkashi hit in Uttarakhand early on Saturday.
According to the national seismology center, the earthquake occurred at 1:28 a.m.
23 kilometers east of Uttarkashi at a depth of 10 kilometers.
“The 3.4 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:28 a.m.
Night near 23 km east of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, at a depth of 10 km,” said the National Seismology Center.
Earlier last month, an earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale had hit Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.
According to the National Center for Semology, Tremor felt at 12:18 pm about 55 kilometers north of Pithoragarh at a depth of 10 kilometers, on June 28.
“A magnitude earthquake: 3.7, occur on 28-06-2021, 12:18: 05 IST, LAT: 30,084 and Length: 80.26, Depth: 10 km, location: 55 km n from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India,” said the center National seismology.
