Ahmedabad: Like SVP and a new LG hospital, another multi-storey hospital will appear in the East Ahmedabad.
Two days ago, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) called for an expression of interest from the institution to plan and design a new multi-multi-multi-storey Lalbhai Shardaben Hospital in Ashok Mill Compound in Saraspur.
“This will be a multi-specialties hospital with all modern medical equipment and the equivalent of the best city-based health services,” said a senior member of the AMC Committee who knows the secret of development.
The process to appoint a consultant will end on August 12.
This project is scheduled for a period of three years.
“Along with multi-storey hospitals, there will be a medical research center and a dedicated microbiology laboratory,” said the member.
After being made, the new Shardaben Hospital will become the third multi-special multi-special hospital owned and operated by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
