Kolkata: Eastern Railway (ER) on Monday continues the drive “mask”.
Each fine of RS 200 was slapped by more than 300 passengers found without a mask (WM) in Division Sealdah and Howrah Er.
“Tourup Testers (TTES) are strictly instructed to impose a fine of anyone who rides the train or appears at the station without a mask,” said a spokesman for Ekalabya Chakraborty.
On Sundays, the first day of the local train commencemented service, more than 200 WM passengers were fined.
