New Delhi: The General Election Commission on Wednesday announced bypolls for six Sabha’s chairs in five states, which were given empty because of the resignation or death of MP sitting, and the biennial selection for a single seat from Puducherry.
Polling for all seats was carried out on 4.
October while two seats Nadu Tamil became empty after MPS KP Manusamy and R Vaithilind resigned, the resignation of Manas Ranjan Bhunia, Biwajit Daimary and Tharawand Gehlot each cause vacancies in West Bengal, Assam and Madhya Pradesh .
Rajya Sabha’s vacancies from Maharashtra emerged because of the death of the Parliament Member of Rajeev Shankarrao Satav in May this year.
The other two-annual Sabha’s election announced by EC on Wednesday is from Puducherry.
MP Sitting MP N Gokulakrishnan ended on October 6, 2021.
EC also announced the Bypoll for the Legislative Council seat in Bihar, which was caused by the death of the MLC Tanveer Akhtar on May 5, 2021.
Polling here will also be held at 4.

Said the broad guideline to conduct polls in the middle of Covid-19 must be followed, wherever it applies, during the entire selection process by everyone.
The main secretary of poll countries has been directed by EC to demand a senior officer from the country to ensure that the instructions that still exist regarding the remedies of the detention of Covid-19 are obeyed by making selection arrangements.
