EC asked the SECY head to ensure there was no celebration of the results of the poll

Kolkata: The election commission election on the afternoon of the afternoon directed the head of West Bengal Secretary HK Dwivedi to ensure that no celebration took place during the results of the poll amid fears of violence.
In a letter, EC said the state government must ensure that adequate steps are taken so that there is no violence after the poll.

There is no celebration of victory / procession during / after calculation must be permitted in ongoing elections in West Bengal, which is calculated on October 3, 2021,” said Secretary EC Rakesh Kumar in the letter.
“All the necessary actions must be taken to ensure tight compliance with the direction of the commission where in all such activities have been banned in a view of the pandemic.
Furthermore, the state government must ensure that adequate steps are taken so that there is no violence of polls,” he add.
EC asks Dwivedi to ensure strict compliance with directions.
The letter came when TMC workers crossed the road to the streets to celebrate the main minister of Mama Mamata Banerjee who was accepted in the election of Bhowanipore.
Party candidates in Jangipur and the Assembly of Samserganj are also in front of their rivals, adding a pora party.
Priyanka Tibrewal BJP, rival Banerjee in Bhowanipore’s chair, has been written to the Chairman of the Kalsuta Prosecutor’s Office High Court Rajesh Bindal, urged him to give a command to the police to take preventive steps to avoid violent incidents after the results were stated.
