Kolkata: Election Election Commission on Monday seeking an urgent report from the government of Bengal after a fight between Trinamool and BJP supporters around the former BJP head of the Dilip Ghosh country near Jadubabur Bazar on the last day of the campaign for Bhowaniipore.
Personnel in the central security cover of Ghosh issued a firearm and formed a ring around him when he complained to “kicked and pushed”.
Trinamool supporters, however, alleged Ghosh went to the vaccination center to ask for a voice, pushing “local residents” to protest.
Ghosh, according to witnesses, entered the Debendra Ghosh Road environment after 11:30, spoke to the voters Bhowanipore and distributed BJP leaflets.
He then entered the vaccination camp to distribute leaflets, pushing some Trinamool supporters to display them.
Ghosh’s security cover then formed a protective ring around it and released their firearms.
This seems to be more annoying.
“Bengak, retreat,” Ghosh was seen telling the protesters at video seizure.
“Gollay Pa Tule Debo, Ami Hijra Noi (I can kick it back, I’m not a transgender),” he added.
Trinamool protesters were not embarrassing and the BJP group, with central security personnel around him, then turned around.
But a BJP supporter, Bhagya Narayan Singh, was trapped in riots and struggled before he could escape and run to a safe place.
Local Trinamool workers accused one of them, Ranjit Singh, “beaten in the head with a pistol ass by BJP MP security officer (not Ghosh)”.
Ranjit was then received at the SSKM hospital.
Ghosh, recently made the party’s national vice president, tweet immediately after the incident and complained that it was “plot” by Trinamool to “kill him”.
But local Trinamool supporters said it was “spontaneous performances of anger and irritation by locals”.
“Why did he enter the vaccination center, where people got Jab at that time, during the election campaign?” Local Trinamool Youth Congress leader Jhantu Dey asked.
A senior police then told toi that there was a “visual everything that had happened” and they were sent to EC.
“We are waiting for EC instructions on how to continue,” he added.
“The party usually told the local police station before they went to the door to the door even though this was not legal requirements,” another official said.
“But, in this case, we don’t know the program,” he added.
The EC then asked the district selection official to order the parade route with the central forces.
Officials said the state government had also submitted its report.
The incident caused a verbal battles everyday between the elderly of Trinamool and BJP.
“How secure is the life of a common citizen when a public representative is attacked? Can peace be done after this incident?” Ghosh said on Twitter, adding that it was a form of voters who threatened not to appear to choose.
However, Senior Trinamool and MP Saugata Roy, are called “spontaneous reaction” incidents from the local population.
“Why should Trinamool attack BJP even though we will win? There is nothing wrong with him when I see photos of him smiling & singing ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and then leave.
All of this is a drama,” he added.
Minister of Trinamool Firhad Judge agreed with Roy.
“This is a tactic to enter the center of attention when there is no one, even his party, not his interests,” he said.
BJP Priyanka Tibewal candidate accused the cm of the Banerjee Mamata to release violence, adding that “CRPF will be there from Tuesday”.
