Panaji: Commission (EC) on Monday has begun preparation for the assembly selection of 2022 which will come with a special summary revision of the selection roll.
EC meets political parties to discuss revisions.
The meeting was attended by BJP representatives, Goa Forward Party, Congress, NCP and MGP.
The final selection roll will be published on January 5.
He said that during the ‘Special Campaign’, Booth-Level Officers (BLO) will be present at the polling station on November 20, 21, 27, and 28.
Sawant said that disposal of claims will be carried out on December 20 and the final.
Roll publications will be made in January 5.
He said that political parties have been told that the electronic voting machine (EVMS) has arrived in the state and the first examination level has begun.
He also said that they had recorded suggestions provided by political parties, and for all points they had collected, the head of the head election had given them a solution.
“Political parties are satisfied,” he said.
When asked whether the committee maintained a fake voting watch, Sawant said that if there were certain cases, the person could submit an objection to remove, and whatever the objection was decided.
The EC told the political party that the Blo of Mormagao was replaced.
The parties have brought EC notification that BLO has been involved in Mormagao from one department.
Political parties say that they will check whatever information provided by EC.
