Chandigarh: Election Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday Transferring seven General Inspector (IGS), eight senior police supervisors (SSP) and three other senior police officers in Punjab.
The poll panel has also ordered the transfer of 19 DSP ranking officers at the State Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Karuna Raju, said the EC had transferred IGS Gorin Singh Dhillon, Jaskaran Singh Chinna to the National Police Headquarters.
Arun Pal Singh has posted as a range of IG Jalandhar, Shive Kumar Verma as IG Bathinda, Rakesh Agrawal as IG Patiala and Pardeep Kumar Yadav as IG Faridkot.
The CEO said that Surjit Singh was posted as Dig Bureau and Kuljit Singh as the AIG investigation bureau.
Jugraj Singh has posted as an assistant commander of the 75th PAP Battalion in Jalandhar.
In addition, Harjeet Singh has been appointed as a new SSP Mohali, Dhruman H Nimbale of Hoshiarpur, Patil Ketan Baliram from Ludhiana Rural, Deepak Hilori of Amritsar Rural, Gulneet Singh Khurana from Tarn Taran, Amnet Kondal of Bathinda, Sandeep Kumar Malik from Muktsar Sahib and Sartaj Singh Chahal from Fatehgarh Sahib.
