Underlining which India is a powerful proponent of climate justice and has been moving forward with a target for mentioning the vision of”One Sun, 1 Planet, One Grid”, he said India is one of the top 10 nations of the planet from the Climate Change Performance Index, and also the nation is completely conscious of the challenges which were being confronted as a result of climate change.
Referring to this”challenging approach” being embraced by India to combat climate change, the PM supposes the nation’s potential for renewable energy has risen by over 250 percent in the past 6-7 decades.
He said India is presently one of the top five nations of the planet in terms of installed renewable energy power, notably the power of solar power that has grown by around 15 days in the previous 6 decades.
