In the coming year, our goal is to reduce the level of the perewdet further,” said an official Detective Department.
Earlier this year, Lalbazar had proposed the creation of the new anti-bank police station.
Kolkata police have searched for nods of state government to regulate it in Lalbazar.
If the proposal is accepted, Kolkata will be one of the first cities in India to have a certain police station that handles bank fraud.
Combined CP (crime) Murlidhar Sharma has confirmed that the proposal has been sent to the State House Department.
