PATNA: The next wave of this Covid -19 pandemic has cast a gloom over smooth traffic motions of particular passenger trains operating on various paths falling under the authority of the East Central Railway (ECR). Railways has cancelled over 23 pairs of passenger trains arising from passing through various areas of this ECR either because of bad occupancy speed of passengers or other motives in the last couple of days. “But after a spike at the instances of this Covid-19 and exceptionally low turn from passengers motivated railways to offset at least 22 more particular passenger trains originating or passing through the ECR authority from Sunday,” stated ECR primary public relations officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar. According to Kumar, railways has cancelled Patna–Bhabhua Intercity particular ( 03249/03250 ) from May 25 while Patna–Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) Mumbai specific passenger railway (03259/03260) will likely be cancelled from May 26 out of Patna Junction ending and CSMT Mumbai from May 28, the CPRO stated including Patna–Banswada at Telangana unique passenger train (03253/03254) is hauled out of May 27 out of Patna Junction side along with Banswada from May 30 onwards. In the same way, Rajendra Nagar Terminal-Banka unique passenger railway ( 03241 /03242) will likely be cancelled May 25 out of Patna facet along with Banka from May 26 onwards.
