Patna: After getting a budget allocation of RS 6,549 Crore, East Central Railway (ECR) has deactivated a detailed plan to complete various projects such as putting new lines, tracking multiplication and conversion gauges in various places under his jurisdiction in 20022.

Head of Public Relations Official ECR (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said the Union budget allocated Rs 60 Crore to put new lines between Sakri and Hasanpur.
“Also, the new line between Khagaria and Kusheshwar Astan (44km) will be placed at the end of this year with RS 60 Crore expenditure,” he said, adding a new line between Hajipur and Supaul (150km) will be placed with Rs 100 Crore expenditure.
The 92km stretch between Arariah and Supaul will be completed this year at a cost of Rs 110 Crore while the new coderma-ranchi (202km) line will be resolved on the expenditure of RS 55 Crore at the current fiscal.
Bihta-aurangabad (120km) will be resolved at the cost of RS 50 Crore this year and the new coderma-taiya line (65km) on RS 275 Crore expenditure.
Other new lines will be placed at Parasnath-Madhuban-Giridh, Fatuha-Isixampur, Neora-Daniyanwan, Daniyawan-Biharsharif, Biharsharif-Barbigha and Barbigha-Sheikhpura route.
On track doubles the segment, the train has decided to complete Ramna-Singrauli, a stretch of 160 km, on the expenditure of Rs 250 Crore in the current fiscal and a stretch of about 32 km between Karaila and Shaktinagar at a cost of Rs 160 Crore.
The road on the bridge above the Garwah road and Gomoh is likely to be ready at the end of December with RS 185 Crore expenditure.
