Chennai: Air Customs Sleuth has captured ecstasy tablets, and LSD stamps worth Rs 56 lakh from the package arriving from Spain at a Foreign Post Office at Chennai Airport.
Officials arrested two people to whom the parcel was handled and confiscated 5.5kg of marijuana worth Rs 2.5 lakh from them in Auroville, Puducherry.
The gift was intercepted and opened by customs officials because there was suspicion that it might contain narcotics.
