When PV Sindhu qualified for the final in the Rio game, Abhinav Bindra wanted him to win gold and had stated how ‘lonely’ he felt above.
He finally has a company now.
“I’m happy,” Bindra told Toi.
Abhinaav won the first gold individual in India on August 11, 2008, and has long been waiting for the state to hear the national anthem playing at the Olympics again.
Four days before the 13th anniversary of his gold medal, Abhinaav was no longer the only gold medalist in the country.
And there is nothing happier than the championship himself.
“For me personally, it is very free not to be the only one,” he added.
It was proven from his social media post, when Abhinav expressed his excitement by writing a series of tweets and letters to the Neeraj Chopra.
In the video posted on Twitter, Abhinaav said: “Dear neeraj, I know how much effort and trust that goes into your search to be the best, to win your gold medal at your first Olympics.
It was an emotional moment for me because of that for Every indian .
“To win gold in the world’s grandest sports, which is held every four years, it is naturally it is so impossible that it is less than 3% of 11,707 athletes who compete with one.
Add into the weight of expectations from countries that are very proud of the hunger of the success of the Olympics, And your achievement becomes more memorable, “he wrote in his letter.
