Ed attached Journalist Assets worth Rs 48 lakh in the case of espionage

New Delhi: The enforcement directorate has attached Property Journalists Rajeev Sharma in Delhi is worth more than Rs 48 lakh in cases related to spies for China and money laundering.
It is suspected that the number is “crime” received from the Chinese intelligence institution.
Sharma was previously booked by police Delhi under the Secretary of the official.
He has been demanded by Delhi and Ed police.
Ed claims its own investigation under the prevention of money laundering laws has revealed that journalists have actively worked for Chinese spy agents.
“Investigation under PMLA revealed that Sharma has supplied confidential and sensitive information to Chinese intelligence officers in exchange for remuneration, sacrificing the country’s security and national interests,” Ed is claimed.
The defendant received his remuneration through a Shell company based in Delhi which was run by Chinese citizen – Zhang Cheng aka Suraj, Zhang Lixia aka Usha and Qing Shi – together with National Nepal Singh alias Raj Bohara.
“This Chinese company acts as a channel for Chinese intelligence agencies to provide remuneration to people such as Sharma who pamper themselves in criminal activities.
Remuneration is paid in cash through the carrier and through cash deposit,” said Ed.
Allegedly that Sharma used a friend’s bank account to receive money to hide his involvement.
“Sharma also accepts remuneration in the form of various paid foreign trips,” said Ed.
