Mumbai: Ed on Friday raids in three places to look for former Minister of State House Anil Deshmukh and to gather evidence in the case of money laundering registered against it.
Ragging continued until late at night and Deshmukh could not be traced.
Source Ed said, “The action can be taken against it for avoiding a call, because the court has not given him temporary protection in this case.” This is the second time ED has done intensive search for Deshmukh.
One of Raided’s building was Deshmukh’s education trust in Nagpur, who received Rs 4.18 Crore which was allegedly collected by Waze API Sachin who was now dismissed from the bar owner in Mumbai.
Another premise belongs to the entrepreneur associated with Deshmukh.
Officials ed recorded the statement of employers until the end of Friday.
Dishmukh’s agreement under the edge of Educating Ed has found several other suspicious transactions that flow to Crores involving Dishmukh’s trust.
Ed official collects related documents for further examination.
Previously, Ed had called Deshmukh and his son Hrishikesh on four occasions to be questioned in case in their Zonat office in Mumbai, but they failed to appear.
They also submitted a request at the Supreme Court challenging educational ed and had sought temporary protection from arrest.
The court hasn’t heard the petition.
Deshmukh has answered Ed’s call through his advocate who said he would appear to be questioned based on the results of the petition in the APEX court.
In the letter, Deshmukh said Ed investigation was “abuse of power and rude authority visible on the facial notes.” In June, Ed arrested the personal secretary of Deshmukh (an additional collector ranking officer) Sanjeev Palande and Kundan Shinde’s personal assistant in this case.
On behalf of Deshmukh, they were allegedly coordinated with Waze and two other police officers to raise money illegally from the bar owner.
Ed was investigating money laundering cases against Deshmukh based on the CBI case where the allegation that Dishmukh had asked the police inspector’s assistant (now dismissed) Sachin Waze, who then led the Mumbai Police Crime Intelligence Unit, Deputy Commissioner of Raju Bhujbal Police and Assistant Commissioner Sanjay Patil to extort the hospital 100 crores from bar owners every month.
