Mumbai: The Recent Directorate of Enforcement (ED) recorded a statement of an accountant, Kishor Dewani, who with his former Minister of Home Awah Anil Deshmukh’s Son Salil has land in Uran worth Rs 300 Crore.
The land was purchased from the villagers in 2006, mostly by paying cash.
When checking the emergency details of the land, Ed knows that the Deshmukh family has a dummy company through which they controlled the PVT Port Premier Link link, whose names were purchased by mainland parcels.
The Deshmukh family did not have share ownership in Premier Port Links Pvt Ltd at that time, even though Salil was one of the directors at the company.
Kishor Dewani manages the company on behalf of the Deshmukh family, said Sumber Ed.
During the investigation, Ed knew that in 2006, developing PVT property Ltd., a company controlled by the son of Deshumukh Hrishikesh, gave a loan RS 1.41 Crore to Premier Port Links Pvt Ltd to buy plots in Uran.
Deshmukh cannot be contacted for his reaction.
