New Delhi: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has issued a notification of observations of the NCP leader and former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh home regarding money laundering.
The source said that the surveillance circle was issued to prevent Deshmukh from escaping from the country.
He had missed a variety of calls issued by Ed in a case forcing him to resign from the position of Minister of Home Maharashtra in April.
This step came when the Supreme Court refused to offer Dishmukh’s temporary assistance from coercive actions in a lawsuit last month.
Deshmukh has transferred the Bombay High Court on September 2 that tried to cancel the call of agency.
Application, however, was not taken to hear immediately.
Ed just until now issued five calls to Deshmukh, asking him to appear before being questioned.
However, Deshmukh missed each call, said he would look for appropriate drugs available under the law.
Ed registered the money laundering case against Deshmukh and the others based on corruption cases submitted to Him by the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI).
Dishmukh was accused of allegedly misusing his position while serving as a Minister of Home Affairs.
It also accused the leader through police officers who were dismissed Sachin Waze collected Rs 4.70 Crore from various bars and restaurants in Mumbai.
The money was allegedly washed with Shri Sai Shikshan Sanshan based in Nagpur, the education trust controlled by the Deshmukh family.
Former Police Commissioner Mumbai Param Bir Singh has leveled up the accusation.
The CBI filed a brilliant against Deshmukh on April 21 this year based on the ruling of the Bombay High Court in April 5.
However, Deshmukh has repeatedly denied violations.
Ed has captured the personal secretary and personal assistant Anil Deshmukh after raids in Mumbai and Nagpur on them and NCP leaders.
His previous son-in-law was questioned by the CBI regarding the leakage of the investigation report.
