Hyderabad: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday wrote to the Excise Ministry and Prohibition, requested all records in the case of Tollywood drugs.
Ed has asked for call details, whatsapp chat, witness statements and recognition records.
Recently, the Telangana High Court ordered the police to submit all documents to be based on the petition submitted by the Telangana Congress President and Revanth Reddy Parliament Member.
Allegedly by the Petitioner that the prohibition and excise department was not equipped to investigate drug problems, without consultation or assistance from various special central government institutions such as the Narcotics Control Bureau, the Directorate of Enforcement Intelligence and the Directorate of Enforcement.
Director Joint Ed Abhishek Goyal is present in the High Court and seeks to submit digital documents and records to arrive at some logical conclusions in accordance with the PML Law.
Director of the ban & excise stated that he filed a cost sheet in all 12 cases and statements, has confiscated copies and other evidence, all of which were submitted to the court court.
Copies of certain documents are equipped with ED too.
“Ed is certainly entitled to the official copy of the firs, the cost sheet, recorded statement, digital evidence is confiscated and all other relevant documents in connection with twelve pine registered by the ban and excise department during the months of July – August 2017,” HC said.
Abhishek Goyal told the court that all records had not been deposited by the court in all cases.
The state government is directed at submitting all records and data to ED.
