New Delhi: Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee, West Bengal Bengal’s nephew, was baked by the Directorate of Enforcement of nearly nine hours at Delhi’s office on Monday in connection with money laundering cases against coal mafia and several colleagues near Banerjee.

Ed was investigating Banerjee, his wife Rujira and other close colleagues as a suspicion of beneficiaries of the ‘crime results’ resulting from illegal coal mining.
While the main accusations in fraud, Anup Majhi, are still out of Dragnet Ed, two others – Former Bankura Police Station responsible for Ashok Mishra and Vikas Mishra – has been arrested in this case.
Ed has claimed that both of them worked for Abhishek and had made illegal transactions to send money to England and Thailand through the Hawala (Illegal) channel.
Vikas Mishra is a brother of the former Secretary of the TMC Youth Wing, Vinay Mishra, is also said to be a close colleague of Banerjee.
Vinay Mishra escaped from the country in November-December last year as soon as the CBI registered a case against Majhi and others.
Mishra took Vanuatu’s citizenship, a country of South Pacific Island, after leaving Indian citizenship to avoid agents.
