Head of Pune Pune (NCP) Pune (NCP) Sharad Pomar said on Tuesday that the ongoing action by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in Maharashtra was an effort to befall the strength of the state.
“There is a mechanism for agencies such as the commissioner of charity and the home department of the State to conduct an investigation in the case of violations.
Despite the presence of such a mechanism, ed conducted a search in the company.
This action by ED is an effort to befall the strength of the state,” said Pawar after attending a function organized by cooperative banks here.
“We will try to increase this problem when Parliament starts to function,” he said.
“There is a case against Eknath Khadse, Anil Puriab, Pratap Sarnaik and Anil Deshmukh.
Ed is being used as a tool.
Only in the last 2-3 years that people in the country have known about Ed,” said Pawar.
The pawar further said that the attitude taken by the RBI to cooperative society and the bank was not true.
“The RBI policy hints at reducing the number of urban cooperative banks, close them and combine them.
This will weaken the cooperative banking sector,” said the NCP President.
He said that the decision about forming a separate city corporation at Pune had to be taken after bringing all political parties belief.
“Because the Civic poll approaches, it won’t be good to form an additional city corporation,” said Pawar.
