New Delhi: To help elementary school students access information related to their syllabus at any time, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has introduced the concept of e-library.
It contains worksheets and videos of Hindi, English, Mathematics, EVS and social videos.
It also contains information related to early child care and educational resources.
This facility was inaugurated by Edmc Commissioner Vikas Anand on Monday.
Principals, teachers and students can access these resources using incoming credentials.
When students cannot attend regular classes due to pandemics, these facilities tend to benefit more than 2,25,000 students and 4,500 teachers in 354 schools.

This concept is being developed by the Ministry of Education with the help of the Mahindra Foundation Tech,” said one Official.
To help parents explore the facilities available in elementary school, especially those who want to register their children, Edmc has a separate website prepared for every school last month.
Each website has information related to online class teaching, students, employees and infrastructure.
“Details of the number of rooms, small rooms, playgrounds, teachers, their qualifications, activities carried out, class-wise syllabus, circular, performance, and history are also provided.
All websites are updated regularly and the link is in the new management information system portal -Barbaru from the eastern corporation, “said an edmc senior official.
