Some teachers remained absent after leaving, he said.
“As a result, in some cases where no satisfactory reply has been received, under the provisions of the Rules of the Changed Leave and the 1959 DMC Regulation, the teacher’s services have been stopped after following the legal procedure,” Edmc said.
In such cases, the process is due to termination of teacher services that are no more interested in rejoining or deliberately involving themselves, officials said.
However, the corporation does not reveal the number of teachers whose services have been stopped.
