Mysuru: MySuru Zilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Maddikere Gopal on Sunday emphasized the need to educate future generations about the contribution of national and talented international artists who were born and raised in the district.
He spoke at a celebration of a hundred years of the personality of the NS Vaman theater held jointly by Karnataka Nataka Academy, Abhiruchi Balaga and Chaitra Foundation.
“Because the cities and districts are talented with a talented theater personality such as NS Vaman, Kannada Sahitya Parisat will make all honest efforts to popularize and publish their lives, work and their contribution to the benefit of the future of the community,” he said.
Given the achievement of Vaman, Gopal said Vaman developed interest in the theater and promotional activities at the age of 12 despite the opposition from his parents.
