Porvorim: The Head of the Minister of Pramod Sawant announced in the Goa Legislative Assembly on Wednesday that high school in the state would be permitted to increase their seat capacity of ten to 15% for acceptance to class XI, and universities for the reception of the first year.
Sawant made a declaration while responding to zero clock mentioned by Santa Cruz MLA Antonio Rodrigues.
“Towards a higher secondary, as well as colleges of all faculties, has been given permission to take additional students in the range of 10 to 15%,” Sawant said.
With a higher percentage of graduation, Rodrigues said that not all students will be able to secure revenues in higher classes and ask the Minister of Chief, who is also the Minister of Education, that higher secondary and higher universities are permitted to increase their seats.
