Educational institutions in Dakshina Kannada are told to be extra careful

The Ministry of Health has ordered educational institutions in Dakshina Kannada to increase safety measures, after it was found that some institutions did not really uphold the Covid-19 protocol on campus.
Recently, three institutions presented notice not to follow the SOP.
Officials were also vigilant after a surge in cases reported on campus throughout the state.
There has been an outbreak at the Nursing College in Kolar and Bengaluru for the past week.
Health Office officials said blatant violations have caused a surge in positive cases among students.
After the educational institution was reopened, a total of 792 students in Dakshina Kannada were tested positively in a range of a month.
These include 620 students from Kerala, 76 from Dakshina Kannada and a dozen from Maharashtra, said Dr.
Ashok H, Nodal officers for Covid-19.
“During the inspection of our place, we found students who should be in quarantine compulsory, mingling with other people in the canteen and dormitory chaos.
I might have some of them through the virus to more students,” Dr.
Ashok said.
Of the three institutions presented notice, two were in Mangaluru and the others in Sutia.
“We have warned them that a case will be ordered under the Law of the Karnataka epidemic.
Fresh infections have declined after we tighten the snare.
We will continue to monitor the situation.” Meanwhile, Minister of Manilajavaraj Bommai, while speaking to reporters in Hubballi, confirmed That students, especially breastfeeding students, who come from Kerala and live in hostels in Karnataka must be trusted mandator for a week and they must be tested at the end of their quarantine period to ensure they do not carry a virus.
