Educational institutions in Uttarakhand to remain closed on Monday due to heavy rain

Dehradun: Most of the educational institutions throughout Uttarakhand will remain closed on Monday while there will be a trekking, climbing, and camping activities in the state height until Tuesday as a precautionary measure in heavy rainy alert released by meeting the department.
Orders for closing educational institutions, including schools, colleges and Angganwadi centers, were issued on Sunday by the district government after being alert heavy rain issued for all 13 Uttarakhand districts on Monday.
The Chamoli District Administration also prohibits all trekking activities, mountain climbing and camping in Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and all Gopeshwar forest areas until October 19.
The Khel Mahakumh event at the district level which will be held on the parade and the pavilion in Dehradun on October 18-19 has been canceled.
They have been rescheduled for October 24 and 25.

Heavy rain until the rain is very heavy, lightning, hail storms and high-speed winds (60-70 KMPJ) have been predicted by the meeting department for all 13 Uttarakhand districts, including Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Almora, Nainitalk Champawat, Dehradun Tehri and Pauri.
Chamoli Administration, Uttarkashi Regency and Rudrparayaav have been asked for extra carefully because Chardham Yatra is taking place in these districts.
