Guwahati: All educational institutions in Assam will be gradually reopened from next month with physical classes in universities, universities and technical institutions and for grade 9 students to continue from October 1.
Offline classes for grade 1 to 8 students will begin at October 19, the Ministry of Education’s notification said on Tuesday.
Physical class for students in the past year middle-class students, degrees and post-grades and technical courses have been continued from September 6, while class 10 starts from September 20.
All classes must be carried out according to the protocol and the presence of Covid-19 in educational institutions is not mandatory, the notice said.

Parents or guardians are asked to give written approval for their ward to attend offline classes, he said.
Institutions must also ensure continuation with online classes, he added.
However, educational institutions in the detention zone will not be reopened until the order further, he said.
The decision to reopen educational institutions has been taken considering the increasing Covid-19 situation, the notice said.
However, the deputy commissioner of the Regency has the right to close it if the covid peposititivity level in the district violates 2 percent on certain days.
Deputy Commissioner, in his capacity as Chair of the District Disaster Management Authority, will order the closure of educational institutions after consulting with the National Health Mission Managing Director, notice said.
For students from grade 1 to 8, the class will be held three days a week on alternative days.
There cannot be more than 30 students in parts and hostels will not be reopened for these class students.
Classes for students from grade 9 to 12 will be carried out every day.
Hostels will only be available for students in grade 10 and 12.
Likewise, classes in all universities, universities, technical institutions, will also be continued in everyday, and dormitory facilities will only be available for students last year.
In terms of detection of Covid-19 positive cases in school, regional government authorities must be informed and the class must continue the following day after testing all students and staff for infection.
If some Covid-19 cases are detected, educational institutions will be closed for seven days, according to notice.
At least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine is mandatory for all teaching and non-teaching staff, while both mandatory doses for hostels and housing staff and housing schools, restrictions on students in the past years under the age of 18, he added.
