Bengaluru: Karnataka has posted a decrease in the steepest power consumption during the winter, thanks to the time of time this year.

But domain experts say low power consumption is not good news because it reflects the lethargy of the agricultural sector and slow recovery by the industrial sector from pandemic-induced locking.
With 30.6 lakh pump irrigation installed in the state, the agricultural sector consumes around 4,000 MW in November because the plant harvest farmers grow in the Kharif season (June-September) and began to sow the rabbi season (October-January).
However, daily power consumption has almost not passed 300MW between 1 and 19 November.
