Agra: 55-year-old Ultratech Cement distributor, an ETU resident, allegedly shot dead at Gandhi Chowk in Aligarh on Monday night.
The police said that the victim, Sandeep Gupta, came to Aligarh from taking care in the morning for some business needs and he had to return at night.
The incident occurred when he stopped his vehicle (fortuner) to buy Rajnigandha Pan Masala.
Even though he was assigned a government shooter, he sat in another vehicle.
The driver of the Gupta Ranveer told the media people that he had heard gunshots but he could not see anyone.
The incident occurred when they were on our way to Green Park.
SSP Kalanidhi Naithani, said that a alleged vehicle was tracked and further investigation.
“Five teams have been formed to catch accusations involved in murder,” he said, adding that CCTV recording scan was being carried out for more instructions.
“Probe Introduction revealed that he was shot in his head and neck.
The detailed report will come after doing post-mortem,” SSP added.
Gupta family members have been told.
Gupta has a business in the city of Uttar Pradesh West.
