Mumbai: Only two procession with five trucks were each permitted in Mumbai on the Eid-e-Milad on Tuesday, with every vehicle was allowed to bring five people, an official said.
While one procession will be in the city of the island, others will be taken on the outskirts of the city, he added.
“There will be five trucks per procession and each truck can bring a maximum of five people.
Previous permission must be taken from the local police, and all Covid-19 norms, such as masks, hand sanitis and social distance, must be implemented on the way,” he said.
Personnel from the local police station, three companies from the State Office (SRPF), 700 personnel from local arms and 500 homegguls have been deployed to maintain law and order, official information.
