Gandhinagar: The state government on Sunday allows Eid-Milad procession to be taken out on October 19 with certain restrictions in the view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The State House Department issued a guideline stating that no more than 15 people and one vehicle will be permitted in any Eid-e-Milad procession which will be celebrated on Tuesday to mark the birth alert of the Prophet Muhammad.
This guideline also said the procession could only be taken during the day considering the night hours were valid in eight cities in the state.
The government said that the process of procession must remain limited to their regions so that they are completed in a possible minimum time.
“Eid-e-Milad will be celebrated on October 19.
The government has made a decision to remember the application that accepts permits that request permission to take the process and regulate other programs that day,” said the circle issued by the House Department.
Earlier this month, the state government has decided to extend the night hours in eight Ahmedabad cities, Vadodara, Letters, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Bhavnagar until November 10 which remain valid between 12 midnight and 6 in the morning.
For the Navratri festival which has just been concluded, it allows the celebration of Garba dance in the housing community with relaxation at night at night.
