Coimbatore: Eight Bangladesh citizens were arrested in Tirupur on Tuesday due to illegal stay in this country.
According to a senior police officer, based on a tip that several citizens of Bangladesh stayed in rental rooms near a knitted company in Chinnakarikaipalayam, police sub-inspector Avinashi Kathickangam and the team had verified their documents on Tuesday morning.
“The eight worked with a knit unit.
They have dropped to the district about six months ago and joined the work unit by producing a fake aadhaar card that has an address from West Bengal.
The police team has confiscated a fake identity card from them.
They don’t have a passport and visa Valid to live in India.
So, the team has arrested them, “the officer said.
Arrest was identified as Jakir Hussain, 23, Alamin, 29, Litton, 30, Biplop Hussain, 23, Ridoyan, 23, Mochin Hussain, 33, Rana Charprasi, 22 and Balbul Ahamed, 32, Indigenous Dhaka, Madaripur and Gazipur in Bangladesh.
“They crossed the Indian border in West Bengal and managed to get a fake aadhaar card from there.
Then, they moved to the Tirupur district to work.
While the textile sector in Bangladesh is famous throughout the world, we don’t know why they work in a garment unit in Tirupur with a guy Indians, “the officer said.
During the investigation, he said, they told us that they had descended to Tirupur when they struggled to make a living in their home country.
Avinashi police have registered a case against them under section 14a (b) read with 3 (2) (a) and 3 (2) (c) foreign law, 1946, and produced in the presence of the Magistrate Court, which sends it in court detention .
They then lodged in the Puzhal Center in Chennai.
On September 5, Tirupur police had arrested four citizens of Bangladesh to live their illegal in the city.
They also worked in the garment unit and lived in a rented house.
The police subdued them when they came to give a prayer at a mosque near the Old Tirupur bus holder.
Likewise, five Bangladesh was arrested near Mangalam in the Tirupur district due to illegal stay on August 19.
