Prayagraj: Chairman of the High Court of Allahabad, Justice Rajesh Bindal, on Wednesday gave an oath to eight lawyers as a judge of the High Court.
The oath was given by the chairman of the chairman in a simple and elegant ceremony in his court room.
Lawyers who took oath as a judge of the High Court of Allahbad were: Justice Chandra Kumar Rai, justice Krishna Pahal, Justice Sameer Jain, Justice Ashutosh Srivastava, Justice Subhash Vidyarthi, Justice Brija Raj Singh, Justice Shree Prakhwar.
With eight more judges, now the number of judges in the High Court of Allahabad has increased to 97 of 160 possensioned, including chairman of justice.
