Ahmedabad: Eighteen people put under the micro detention zone on Wednesday, bringing total active zones in the city to 180.
The Civic’s body also raised the sidewalk of 20 people consisting of 772 houses with 772 residents.
Seven of the public where the sidewalk was appointed situated in the North West Zone area such as Bodakdev, Vastrapur, Thaltej and Chandlodia while six are located in the southwest zone in areas such as Jodhpur, Satellite and South Bopal.
A simandhar tower block in Bodakdev with 29 houses and 134 residents declared free of sidewalks.
Twenty houses with 81 residents of Hillol Complex in Vastrapur are also from micro detention.
Among the newly added micro detention zones, five are located in the west zone such as Nava Vadaaj, Ambawadi, Vastra and Ranip while four housing communities are located in the South West Zone in areas such as Makarba, Jodhpur and South Bopal.
Three of the people were in Bodakdev and Sola in the North West Zone.
The newly added micro detention zone included 103 houses with 398 residents.
