HUBBALLI: Uncertainty continues to loom on the elections to urban regional bodies in Dharwad and Kalaburagi districts.
On the 1 hand, the Karnataka Election Commission has taught the various deputy commissioners of both districts to prepare the voters’ rolls to the surveys to Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) along with Kalaburagi City Corporation (KCC), although the state authorities refused to budge from its own conclusion against elections for another few weeks — a conclusion the Karnataka cupboard occurred about April 26.
