Election of the Assembly: Manipur Congress plans a loyalty oath like a cave for its nominance

Guwahati: Congress is planning a Goa-type swear firewall to stop defection after the party loses 42% of his legislators to BJP for the past five years in Manipur who goes to this election.
The first transition occurred on the day after the results of the 2017 poll and needed five BJP parties, the last minute alliance passed a half-sign in the assembly of 60 members.
Congress has now proposed an oath of loyalty for its candidates in Manipur to avoid the loss of this face.
The party took his candidate to a temple, a mosque, and the church in the Goa poll last Saturday and they promised to never leave the party after being elected.
“We reflect on a number of oath loyalty after we give them tickets.
Not that we don’t trust anyone.
Instead there is a lack of confidence.
We know very well that these people will be revealed by the party are truly members of Congress.
They will remain members of Consoners in pain , suffering or happiness.
But we need some kind of oath of loyalty, “said AICC observer for Manipur and members of the Pradyut Bordoloi Screening Committee.
Five years ago, Congress was completed as the only biggest party with 28 of 60 seats, but was rejected fourth terms in a row by the dramatic turnover of events marked by defection and poll alliance.
