Election: Why Akhilesh Yadav Choose Karhal Chair

Lucknow: In that face, SP head Akhilesh Yadav decision for the contest from the Main Karhal chair may seem to be a clear choice because it has been a safe bet for a party for almost three decades, except for a break in 2002.
But observers suggest there are more steps Instead of what you meet.
To start, Akhilesh was not interested in fighting until November last year and had conveyed the same thing to the media.
The decision is as well as possible based on the belief that the selection that fights will bind it by leading to its own campaign and does not deliver enough time to campaign for other candidates.
But two weeks later, the SP head modified his previous statement and said his party would receive a call to him to fight for assembly elections and also chair choices.
Buzz about him who fought with the election of his first assembly was even harder after the BJP was nominated by Yogi Minister Adyityanath and Deputy Minister of Chief Keshav Prasad Maurya respectively as a choice of parties for Gorakhpur (Urban) and Sirathu.
Finally, party sources on Thursday confirmed that Akhilesh will compete from the Karhal seat.
Resources said at first party leadership was interested in choosing a Gopalpur seat in the Azamgarh parliamentary constituency – Akhilesh.
The option to fight from Gunnaur (Sambhal District) is also on the table at a time and so is the choice of the main chair aware of Sambhal, too, has become a family grass that is long enough and Mulayam itself has won from Gunnaur twice, while SP head is MP sat from mainpuri.
Finally, the spotlight stopped at the Karhal which was described as a chair from where Mulayam Singh political mentor Nathu Singh Yadav won in 1957 polls.
The source said the strategy behind choosing Karhal was to make the best of the influence that the nomination of akhilesh from the chair would be in the area.
“Not only will it have an impact on the entire Division of Agra, where Mainpuri is part, but also the Canpur and Aligarh division,” said a senior SP leader.
According to the insider, some SP leaders, who sided with Shivpal during the battle of supremacy in the Yadav clan in the 2017 assembly process, were not happy with Chacha joining Bhatija Akhilesh.
Pramod Gupta, Brother-in-law Mulayam Singh who officially joined BJP on Thursday, is one such name.
Former Mola, Raghuraj Shakya (Etawah) and Shivkumar Beriya (Rasulabad-Kanpur Dehat), who also sided with shivpal, could also cause damage to the prospect of SP.
The akhilesh candidate from Karhal will help blunt such impacts, SP strategist experts.
