Electrocution: Discom Staff & Lalai GMC, Panel said

Ghaziabad: The three member committees formed under ADM City to investigate the death of Rakesh 1 September rose electrocution, which killed five people, has found the Corporation Municipal Ghaziabad and Pashchimanchal Vitran Vitran Limited Vidyut.
In his report, it was submitted before the district judge on Wednesday, the panel had recommended an investigation of department towards mistaken officials.
This report has also charged the shopkeeper of the Ramesh Kumar and Landlord Sushil Kumar and recommends that criminal cases be started against them.
On September 1, five people, including three children, were setrocated when they came into contact with an electric pole that supports the shade of tin outside the store in Rakesh Marg.
ADM City Shailendra Kumar said, “The Committee was formed by the District Judge immediately after the incident.
We visited the place and recorded witness testimony and locals.
During the investigation, it was brought to our attention that the day before the Ramesh Kumar shop guard was warned that the current flowed through the pole Iron sustained the shade of tin in his shop but he did not pay attention to him.
“Shop owner Sushil Kumar, said in City, has also been charged because he allows encroachment outside his property.
“It is the task of the GMC to ensure that encroachment does not occur.
The shade of tin outside the store is clearly established on the road, which also shows that PVVNL officials do not carry out safety inspections.
So we recommend investigating department towards GMC and PVVNL officials in our report to DM, “Kumar said.
Reacting to the reports of the official committee from the Electricity Department said, “We have not received a report and will be in a position to comment only after we pass it.”
