Elephant stepped on a man, 67, to death

Krishnagiri: A 67-year-old man, who lost two days ago, was found to be trampled to death by wild elephants in the forest area near the Denkanikottai here on Thursday.
Forest officials identify deceased like M Basappa, a resident of Gudiyur Village.
He is Coolie.on on Tuesday, he goes to the stock reserves of forest areas to graze livestock.
Because he didn’t go home, his relatives launched his search on Wednesday morning.
They also reminded forest officials at the Office of the Denkanikottai forest range on the same day.
“We found him dead on Thursday morning.
He was killed in an elephant attack,” said a forest official.
Sukumar forest officers and other officials sent the victim’s body to a government hospital in Denkanikottai for Postmortem.
Forest officers have registered a case and further investigation.
Forest officials have convinced the Solatium for the relatives of the victims.
