Elephants destroy plantations in the DK forest

Power: The threat of elephants continues to bring havoc to farmers in the subrahmanya forest area and Panja Reserve district of Dakshina Kannada from Karnataka.
Of the last few days, a wild elephant has entered plantations in Kadaba Taluk and destroys plants and property.
Yeluwale Plantation Ramachandra Gowda in Renjilady was destroyed in one such example, where wild elephants destroyed more than 100 king bananas and 50 Areca and coconut trees.
Officials Department of Forest, along with members of Noojibalthila Gram Panchayat, visiting plantations.
Locals have also complained that a wild elephant has roamed the Niddo Balakka area, Ichiladka, Yelumale, Hera Konaje and destroyed plants, urging the department to run out of forests to eliminate such attacks.
