Mumbai: Court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) specifically here on Monday rejected the guarantee application submitted by the University of Delhi Hany Babu professor and three others were accused of the case of Elggar Parishad-Maoist Links.
De Kothalikar’s special judge rejected a bail application submitted by Babu and Sagar Gorkhe who were accused of being together, Ramesh Gaichor and Jyoti Jagtap, the three members of the Kabir Kala Manch.
Babu was arrested on July 28, 2020, from his residence in Delhi and is currently nesting in Taloja prison in Navi Mumbai.
Jagtap, Gorkhe and Gaichor were arrested in September 2020 and have been detained since then.
