Mumbai: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday was submitted before the Special Court here draft costs under the prevention law of strict old activities and IPCs against 15 accused of case cases of Parishad-Maois 2018.
Special Court will consider the draft cost on August 23 And then the frame of the accusation against the defendant, who included several activists.
Frame the accusation was the first step before the experiment began in a case where the prosecution described the accusation against the defendant along with reliable evidence.
After framing the charges, the court will ask the defendant whether they pleaded guilty or not in that.
The cost of the cost delivered on Monday put 17 charges against the defendant and they had tried to be indicted under various parts of the Act (Prevention) Act (UPA) and KUHAP (IPC).
The lawyer of the people accused of Monday asked the court to hear and discard several applications submitted by the defendant before framing the fees against them.
Judge Special Nia D Kothalikar then asked Nia to submit a statement of their information to all applications and said the argument would be heard on them on the next date.
Arrested captured in this case includes several activists including Sudha Bharadwaj, Vernon Gonsalves, Varavara Rao, Hany Babu, Anand Teltumde, Shoma Sen, Gautam Navlakha and others.
The Elgar Parishad case related to the inflammatory speech made in the connidation held at Pune as of December 31, 2017, which police claimed to have triggered violence the following day near the Memorial of the Koregaon-Bhima war located in the district in West Maharashtra.
The prosecution claimed the conclave was organized by people with the alleged Maoist link.
Activists were accused of active members of CPI (Maois) and distributing Maoist ideology and inciting violence.
