Dubai: Emir Qatar on Thursday approved the election law on the country’s first legislative poll that will be held in October, a year before the Bay Arab country accommodating 2022 World Cups, his office said.
Voting will be for two thirds, or 30 members, from the 45 chair Shura Council, where the new law was also approved by Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Thursday.
