Cairo: Emir who ruled Qatar and the Secretary of the State and US defense that visited discussed developments in Afghanistan and efforts to improve security there, said the Emir’s court on Monday.
Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, received the Minister of State Secretary of the US, Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin after their arrival in Doha on the day.
The visit came with Washington looking for support for American evacuation and at risk of Afghanistan who was left behind in Afghanistan after the takeover of the Taliban and built consensus among allies about how to respond to the new Islamic rulers.
